Introduction to Global Exchange Blockchain (GBX)

The catalyst in developing Global Exchange Blockchain was dedicated to eliminating the predominant weaknesses of the existing Blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple. In establishing industry standards with the deep multi - layer architectural infrastructure combining:

A. THE BEST functionality of:

Bitcoin (allowing “Proof of Work” Coin mining), Ethereum (allowing issuing “New Tokens” using Smart Contracts programming capabilities) and Ripple (facilitating “cross - border” transactions), but also adding

B. VALUBLE LAYERS OF DEPTH, allowing:

1. Blockchain based BIG DATA STORAGE capabilities
2. “Proof of Resources” Token mining allocation for supporting Big Data Storage - related transactions
3. Unlike Ethereum Blockchain using Smart Contract programming language, the issuance of “New Tokens” in GBX Blockchain (with or without “Proof of Work”) based mining can be done on the fly in seconds by using simple “Settings”, not requiring any software programming or expertise
4. Unlike Ripple positioning its Blockchain, as “Trust - based” network for “cross - border” payment transactions, GBX Blockchain can serve not just this purpose, but can be used by any governments, agencies, authorities, associations, different industry leaders, banks, non - bank financial institutions and organizations that are “Core Members” of the Global Exchange Blockchain Network”
5. Unlike the Bitcoin and Ethereum, Blockchain Networks that constantly slow down due to Mining, GBX’s specific additional “Mining Layer” (as a separate process of a Blockchain) enables the Mining process without slowing down the entire Blockchain Network
6. In - house built BIX (Blockchain Information eXchange) protocol insures the efficiency, reliability and the speed of the transactions performed via the Blockchain. BIX is FIX (Financial Information eXchange) - type standard

The Core and operational WEB based Interfaces

Blockchain Core components including “Consensus”, “Mining” and Back office (reporting, KYC and AML) layers, same as pre - built BIX API Engine and Web Server, similar to UNIX, Linux, Windows, Apple operating system cores are written in a machine low - level "c" program language. Its Uniquely Deep and Fast infrastructure including FIX (Financial Information eXchange) like, in - house developed BIX (Blockchain Information eXchange) API engine sets the Bar for finance, cryptography and every other industry at the Standartized Level. Mobile - friendly browser - based web GUIs (Graphical User Interfaces) simplify all operational activities for Blockchain Members.

Open Source

We are looking forward to joining and publishing the entire Blockchain source code on GitHub right when launching the Production Instance of GBX Blockchain. We welcome Members' participation in testing our Pilot Demo instance of the Network and value iterative feedback as we prepare the Production Version. Basic GBX Blockchain Network Parameters

Software Core Server Node, written in “c”, procedural level programming language suitable for system programming like operating system, is running on “permitted and trusted” Level0 Core Layer serving the Consensus of GBX Blockchain. This Core Server Node executable file size after compilation is currently less than 1MB.

Consensus of Core Servers algorithm is used for obtaning a Consensus between Core Server Nodes and is designed in a way that allows maximum data flow. The protocol of achieving Consensus is built to minimize the amount of the data exchanged between Core Server Nodes. The advantage of Layer0 - based Blockchain database results is the overall difficulty to falsify the information stored inside. Ones the information is stored on the Blockchain, it is practically impossible to remove or alter it. Blockchain Blocks, containing records (messages and files issued by Level0 Core Server Nodes) utilize “Proof of Resources” - based Consensus Algorithm.

The speed parameter of issuing and confirming Blocks is customizable and considering the global Internet connectivity latency, it should be in the range of 3 - 5 seconds/per Block (comparing to 10 minutes per block in the Bitcoin Blockchain). Even after doubling this time to 10 seconds, it’s still very efficient to human user to wait in front of the computer, ATM machine or mobile device for the confirmation that his transaction is processed (i.e. stored into the Blockchain). Speed limitation is mainly limited by the speed of network connections.

A Single Block Container may contain thousands of files and other records. The size of each message issued, transmitted, confirmed and stored on the Blockchain database during the Stress Test was limited by 10MB. In a usual case under the normal circumstances such as Crypto Coin wallet - to - wallet transaction, one message will have an approximate size of 1KB and 1 block will contain as many messages as may have been collected within every 10 seconds, up to a maximum of 50,000 messages/per 10 seconds.

Block size is currently restricted to 50MB, so in the worst - case scenario one single Block will consist of 5 (five) messages in an average size of 10MB each. Blockchain API (Application Program Interface) software engine is pre - built into the Layer0 Core Server Nodes for serving API connectivity to the Blockchain Network. It uses the in - house developed BIX (Blockchain Information eXchange) Protocol, which is freely based on FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol standards.

AML and KYC basic requirements, such as photo identification (ID) and Proof of Address, is required for all Blockchain Network Members. All Member data related to Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirments information are safely stored on the Blockchain. Entities issuing New Tokens establish their own Token parameters and can establish management capabilities including KYC and AML, based on automatic or manual approval or rejection modes
